Short Background:

I have over 20 years of experience in education and community support, with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from San Francisco State University. At BGCP (Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula), I spent nearly 10 years as a Parent Coordinator, helping families navigate educational challenges and strengthen their involvement in their children's academic lives. I also worked as an Associate Instructional Aid at Woodside High School, assisting students and supporting teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment. These experiences have allowed me to develop expertise in communication, advocacy, and resource coordination. Currently, as the Bilingual Site Parent Liaison at TIDE Academy, I use these skills to bridge communication between the school and families, ensuring all students and parents receive the support they need.
